Let's tell you our story...

My memories as a child are made of,
A simple and healthy life in the countryside,
Happy moments with my family,
Wonderful home Cooking,
The good vegetables from the garden,
The holidays at my grandmother’s
The old French embroidered linen,
polished furniture,
moments in the farm,
collecting the cows,
milking the goats…

these memories have come back and …

Later, Jean Luc and I have decided to go and get our dream. We bought the farm called La Grollerie in 2004. We’ve had to work, to learn, to forget about the hours…
We’ve touched each stone of this house, each tile.

Our families have helped us, they’ve always been here for us. We want to thank them for their generosity and their support . Thanks to our friends and thanks to Anna, our little blond girl who shares with us our adventure. She ‘s always happy, always trying to help, always ready to go. Anna is a little farmer, our sweet heart.

The creation of Les Gîtes de l’Etang des Noues has happened thanks to a big part of madness, a lot of perseverance to go back to what’s essential, a desire to go back to Nature.
I’m an ex-english and French teacher and Jean Luc is a drum teacher, we now would like to share this place, meet people…Before and after us, history is here. Come and share it with us !
